Our Clinical Practice in Facial Implants

In our practice, facial implant is done under local anesthesia in our clinic, no hospital stay. However in some cases, it is done under general anesthesia at our affiliated hospital in Phuket. Payments shall be made in full before the procedure. We prefer cash payments made in Thai Bahts.

The Procedure: Facial implants reshape facial contours to improve proportion and profiles and corrects imbalance caused by injury or hereditary traits.
The Technique: A careful selection and surgical placement of appropriately sized and shaped facial implants most commonly placed in cheeks, chin or jaw region. Incisions are made inside the mouth or the discreetly placed external incisions create space in soft tissues for implant positioning and support.

Get Ready For The Big Day (Before, During & After)
Before Operation

Same Day Procedure Prepare for basic medical check up and discuss expectations with your plastic surgeon. The surgeon may take photographs before and after procedure and keep the photos in your medical record. Take a light meal or soft drink before coming to the clinic. |

During Operation:

The facial implant procedure usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hours
|

After Operation
Few Hours After: Following facial implantation, your face may be somewhat swollen for a few hours. However, you should be able to return immediately to work or social activities.
Same Day Discharge: You will be given a written instruction on when to take your anti-inflammatory and analgesic pills and you’ll be advised on the date of your follow-up visit.

The Facial Implant Package : THB
Full payment of the operating expenses must be paid in full before the procedure. This package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients only.
Package Includes:
Doctor’s fee, implant cost, local anesthetics, operating room charges, home medications and follow-up visit. |

Package Excludes:
Charges for in-patient stay or intensive care, when necessary; charges related to underlying condition such as Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension, Thyroid, Drug Allergy, Heart Disease, etc. |

The Long Term Result of Facial Implant
Following our instructions can help to attain an excellent outcome of facial implants. The result is visible almost immediately. Initial swelling subsides in 2-4 weeks and dissipates in 1-2 months as final results appear. Like any procedure, facial implantation is also associated with certain risks despite maximum care. Our team takes every precaution possible to prevent and minimize the risks. However, much of the responsibility for risk avoidance rests with you as well.
