Body contouring provides patients with an alternative to liposuction. The introduction of body contouring has allowed the cosmetic surgeon to receive training in more than one method for the dissolution of fat and the tightening of skin cells.

Liposuction is a procedure to remove unwanted fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck using a tube (cannula) and suction.   Also known as abdominoplasty, a tummy tuck removes excess fat and skin, and in most cases restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer.

An arm lift is a surgical procedure to remove the loose skin and excess fat deposits in the upper arm. With age, the upper arm can become loose and flabby. Brachioplasty is done is patient’s who want to tighten the skin and look as good as they want. In some cases, liposuction can be used alone or in conjunction with an arm lift to enhance the results.
